I am a South African equine artist and fifth-generation farmer. Horses have been part of my life since childhood — not as subjects to admire from a distance, but as working partners with distinct personalities, moods, and presence.
That is what I paint. Not just a likeness — but the quiet character that only someone who truly knows horses can see, and only someone who loves them would think to capture.
